Art Therapy is a state registered profession.  In order to practice anywhere in the UK as an Art Therapist or Art Psychotherapist, it is a legal requirement to be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.

You can find our registrations at www.hcpc-uk.org

Membership to the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) is also a requirement for practice and through our affiliations, we abide by their Code of Ethics and Principles of Good Practice.

Nicky is currently involved with BAAT's Art Therapy in Education professional working group and was previously a London Regional Coordinator, facilitating a network of support, research and guidance on practice issues
